Our Solid White Superior countertop filter system sits on the counter and easily connects to most any kitchen faucet. A diverter valve replaces the aerator on your faucet. Uses a replaceable 1 micron carbon block cartridge (pre-installed), cartridge is manufactured using FDA-compliant materials and offers high levels of chemical reduction in portable drinking water, including chlorine taste and odor, filter meets NSF/ANSI Standard 42. 6,000 gallons chlorine taste & odor reduction @0.75 GPM. Flow rate is 0.75 gallon per minute. For cold water use only, spout, chrome diverter valve. 1 year warranty on components. Replace cartridge annually.Our Superior series water filters provide =99.984% reduction of 3 - 4 m particles (=99.96% reduction of 1 -2 m particles) and operate as high performance sediment filters with extended life. In addition, the Superior series provides excellent reduction of Chlorine, tastes and odors. Graded-density prefiltration combined with a high dirt capacity extruded activated carbon serve to provide several times greater dirt life than molded water filter products.Design Features: Our Solid Carbon Block filters flow in the radial (outside-to-inside) direction, providing increased dirt capacity and low pressure drop. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) water filters, solid carbon block cartridges will not channel or bypass, due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core.
